We are one of the leading Inbound Tour Operators specialising in Great Britain and Ireland. Our clients are based throughout Europe with the majority in German and French speaking countries.  

For our Harrow/Greater London based office we are currently seeking

Intern Tourism (m/f) as Team Assistant
from January/February/March 2019

Please note that we only take candidates into consideration who are able to get support from a European Community Programme like Erasmus+.

Internship in the Operations Team

You support your team in all areas of operations. You would assist with research, liaising with suppliers, running reports, dealing with amendments, generating travel documents and helping with general admin.

Internship in the Sales/Market Development Team

You support your team in the areas of research, preparation and follow-up of offers and itineraries. You would assist with liaising with clients, running reports and helping with general administration.

Internship in the Marketing Team

You will assist with editing newsletters, preparing mailings and press articles, organising trade fairs. In addition, you would assist in the production of our annual brochure and in the organisation of events.

Internship in the Contracting Team

You assist in purchasing accommodation and other services for incoming groups. You send out requests and monitor the responses. You also negotiate rates, send out confirmations, book accommodation on option, extend cancellation deadlines and administer the allocation charts.

Internship in the FIT Team

You assist with inserting bookings for individual travellers, dealing with amendments, research for special enquiries, preparation of offers, running reports and liaising with suppliers, generating hotel descriptions and helping with general administration. You are responsible for dealing with close outs.

Internship in the Database Team

The Database team ensures that our integrated software TOURPLAN provides all areas of our company with up-to-date, comprehensive and accurate data. You help with creating and updating services, supplier and agent details and enter important supplier information. 

Required skills for all positions:

  • very good knowledge of both written and spoken English and either German or French

  • accurate working style; good communication skills

    Starting date: January/February/March 2019

    Minimum duration: 6 months   Salary: £ 400 net per month
